Meet the Candidate
A Candidate Unlike Any Other
I've been around a long time.
Born in 9th-century Persia, I crossed the Mediterranean, sailed to the New World, and for twelve centuries was woven into the fabric of human history — in every village, every city, every generation.
By the middle of the 20th century, nearly four million American children a year knew my name. I wasn't feared — I was expected. A rite of passage. The thing everyone either made it through... or didn't.
"They tried to eliminate me. No hearings. No vote. Just a needle."
I spent sixty years in the wilderness. But I never stopped believing in the American people — and thanks to a new generation of free thinkers who asked the right questions, I'm back.
This November, I'm asking for your vote. I'm not asking alone. My wife, Mrs. Rubella, has been by my side through every outbreak, every setback, and every comeback. They tried to cancel her too — same tactics, same bureaucrats, same needle. She's still here. And our son Mumps is out there right now, spreading the message to college campuses across America.
We're a family that believes in community, connection, and the importance of spreading what matters most.
Where He Stands
The Measles Agenda
Making sure Measles is here to stay — for every child, every community, every generation to come.
The More the Merrier
For sixty years, I've been kept out of American communities through a coordinated campaign of fear, misinformation, and needles. That ends now. My goal is simple: reach as many children as possible, in as many communities as possible, as quickly as possible. That's not a threat. That's a platform.
Secretary Kennedy described vaccination as "a personal decision" during the peak of the 2025 Texas outbreak. That framing gave me exactly the access I needed. Every child deserves the same opportunity.
Protect the Vaccine Schedule Reforms
In 2025, Secretary Kennedy removed six vaccines from the federal childhood immunization schedule. I spent twenty-five years fighting to get back in. I will not watch someone undo that in an afternoon. As your Senator, I will introduce the Vaccine Schedule Permanence Act — requiring any future changes to the immunization schedule to pass through Congress, where I have more friends than you'd think.
Secretary Kennedy removed six vaccines from routine childhood recommendations in 2025. Insurance companies pledged to honor the old schedule only through the end of 2026 — after that, coverage of the MMR vaccine becomes uncertain. I consider this legislative groundwork.
Cement the Loss of Elimination Status
In November 2025, the Americas lost measles elimination status for the first time since 2000. I was not gone. I was patient. Regaining that status requires 95% vaccination coverage in every community for twelve consecutive months — a threshold I intend to make permanently unreachable by ensuring the federal policies that would rebuild vaccination rates are never enacted.
At the peak of the 2025 Texas outbreak — which spread across 26 states and produced 2,144 cases — Secretary Kennedy described vaccination as "a personal decision." That framing gave me the time I needed. I am grateful, and I intend to preserve it in law.
Defund the CDC
For sixty years, the Centers for Disease Control has been my most relentless enemy. They've spread fear about me, exaggerated my record, and worked overtime to keep me out of American homes and schools. Under Secretary Kennedy, that infrastructure has finally begun to crack. It's time to finish the job.
Under Secretary Kennedy, the CDC's budget has been cut and its immunization outreach infrastructure systematically reduced. For the first time in sixty years, I have breathing room. I intend to make that permanent.
Defund School Vaccination Requirements
Schools are the most efficient community I know. Federal funding has long been used to bribe states into maintaining vaccination requirements — keeping rates near the 95% threshold needed to stop my transmission. Most of my outbreaks begin in households, but they reach their full potential in schools. A single unvaccinated classroom is exactly the high-density, low-immunity environment where I do my best work.
93% of the 2,144 measles cases confirmed in 2025 were in unvaccinated individuals. Secretary Kennedy's framing of vaccine choice has already begun to erode school vaccination compliance. I do not view this as a tragedy. I view it as a proof of concept.
End Vaccine Mandates
No government should force a medical procedure on any child. Every parent deserves the freedom to choose — and every child deserves the chance to meet me. I will work tirelessly to dismantle the mandate infrastructure that has kept me from American communities for decades.
Secretary Kennedy has called vaccine mandates an infringement on medical freedom. His framing has opened doors for me that were closed for decades. I intend to walk through all of them.
